Minimal information
EntryAtlas only uses the information needed to run the site, respond to messages and remember optional preferences.
Privacy & browser storage
EntryAtlas is designed to work with minimal personal information. The tools focus on travel rules and passport data, not building a profile about you.
Key privacy points
Plain-language guidance first. Detailed browser controls are available below.
EntryAtlas only uses the information needed to run the site, respond to messages and remember optional preferences.
Theme, language, your selected passport country and opt-in checklist progress can be remembered in your browser for convenience. You can switch that optional storage off at any time.
If you choose to save a checklist, EntryAtlas remembers its passport-country code, destination-country code and preparation statuses on this device. Passport numbers, issue or expiry dates, blank-page details and journey dates entered into tools are not persistently stored by the site.
Official government, embassy and authority links take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. Destination guides also request current reference-city weather from Open-Meteo when that guide is opened.
You can clear saved preferences, disable optional browser storage and contact us if you have a privacy question.
If the way EntryAtlas handles information changes materially, the privacy page and public Updates pages will be revised.
Browser preferences
EntryAtlas does not need optional preference storage to work. If enabled, it covers interface settings and the passport country you selected so tools can stay in sync. Saving checklist progress is a separate opt-in for one route; turning optional storage off also clears that checklist. Passport numbers and calculator or travel dates are not persistently stored.
entryatlas-theme — light or dark mode.entryatlas-language — your selected interface language.entryatlas-passport — the country/issuer code of the passport you selected, used to keep tools in sync.entryatlas-journey-checklist-v1 — only when you choose Save on this device: one route’s country codes and preparation statuses. Replaced when you save another route; deleted when saving or optional storage is switched off.entryatlas-storage-optout — remembers that optional storage is switched off.Preference storage is currently on on this browser. Turning it off clears the saved theme, language and selected passport-country values and checklist progress. You can still use the tools for the current page view, but EntryAtlas will not persist those preferences between visits.
